My name is Chris Thomas. A fortunate husband, a father of three and Dad to five, I’m an advocate of foster care as an implication of the gospel. I’m also a pastor at Raymond Terrace Community Church, a regional church based in the Hunter Valley, Australia. I mostly write about the gospel and how it informs both work and rest.

Time, Seasons, And Jesus

Time, Seasons, And Jesus

It is not my usual custom to link my own sermons here. In fact, until the COVID restrictions impacted out local church, we had never considered recording our services at all, while our sermons were only ever recorded in audio. We now stream each Sunday, a mixture of live and pre-recorded elements to each service. I usually record my sermons in advance, usually on the Thursday prior, and to begin with this was done in front of a traditional pulpit. In recent times, I began recording in the various outdoor locations around the beautiful Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia.

This previous Sunday I continued our current series in the book of Ecclesiastes, and covered the famous verses in the opening of chapter 3. A number of people have contacted me to talk further about this passage, and I thought it may be useful to link the message here. The prior sermons can all be found on our church website at rtcc.org.au.
